C2 Edu to Host Fifth Annual SAT Challenge

2011 C2 Edu - SAT Chanllenge

C2 Education is proud to announce its fifth annual nationwide SAT Challenge.

“This is an event that we are always very excited to be able to offer,” says David Kim, co-founder of C2 Education. “It is such a wonderful opportunity for students.”
C2 began offering the SAT Challenge in 2007. Since then, it has grown to include thousands of students across the country.
This year, the SAT Challenge will be held on April 2 at .

During the SAT Challenge, students will sit for a full-length mock SAT exam.
“We make sure to administer the tests under conditions that are as close to actual testing conditions as possible,” Mr. Kim says. “This way, students are able to get a more accurate idea of how well they would perform on a College Board SAT.” While students take the SAT, parents are invited to attend a seminar about the college admissions process. Seminar speakers include college admissions specialists and the co-founders of C2 Education. “We hope that parents will embrace the opportunity to learn more about what their children will need to get into the school of their dreams,” Mr. Kim says.

Awards for the top performers in each national division will include cash prizes ranging from $500 to $2,500 with a Grand Prize of $4,000. The top three scoring middle school students and the top three scoring high school students within each geographic region will also receive $500 scholarships to C2 Education. “With this challenge, we hope to recognize hard working students, and we want to offer the assistance necessary to push them to higher levels of excellence,” Mr. Kim says.
In the Seattle area, the event will take place at Shoreline Community College located at
16101 Greenwood Avenue North
in Shoreline, WA. Doors will open at for same-day registration. Same-day registration will be $40. Those students who pre-register will save $5 off the registration fee. Dear C2 and its staff,

I have gone to many different tutoring centers over my 17 years, and I have never found one more enlightening than C2. Especially for SAT preparation, I felt confident and equipped for success. My scores increase greatly from an 1850 to 2360 and I cannot thank you more for that 510 point increase.
The teachers are both helpful and kind, willing to help me with school work as well as standardized testing. My grades in school have improved as well, and I have learned not to loathe or dread the subjects I do not excel at.
I am greatly appreciative, and this letter cannot even begin to express my gratitude. I hope to continue my time here at C2, so that when college applications due dates are near, I can utilize one of my greatest assets, the C2 educational staff.

Again, thank you so much.

Sincerely,
Alex Lee

Dear Mrs.Kim,

I am very greatful and indebted to C2 Education for helping me to achieve the SAT Score
I knew I could not attain.  Without your constant encouragement and guidance,  I would not be able to feel confident in my college application.  After 2 months of coming to C2 Education, my score improved by 400 points.

DT SAT 1710 (M:550  RC:640  W:520)
Best Real SAT 2110 (M: 700, R: 710, W: 700)
SAT II – Biology-680  English Literature -750

I feel that the combination of my effort and the in depth study plan that C2 teachers created were the main causes of my success.  I would recommend C2 Education to anyone who is unsatisfied with their SAT results because I know it helped me. It is worth the time and effort because you can actually see the results.
